Standalone (Offline) Temperature & Humidity Data Loggers

Some sites cannot or will not put a monitoring device on a network. Defence and critical infrastructure sites restrict connected equipment. Pharma QA and QC labs may keep instruments off the corporate network for data-integrity or IT-validation reasons. Remote stores, new buildings and temporary sites may simply have no connectivity yet. And many teams want a standalone logger as an independent backup next to a connected system.

A standalone logger also avoids the approvals a connected device needs. There is no IT security review, no firewall change and no SIM contract, so it can be installed on the day it arrives. The trade-off is that someone must visit the logger to collect the data, and nobody is alerted remotely during an excursion.

The single, dual and humidity models have a 1.3 inch OLED display, an IP64 rated wall-mountable enclosure and ±0.5 °C accuracy between -10 °C and +50 °C with 0.1 °C resolution. They run from a DC 5 V / 1 A supply, and an internal 4000 mAh Li-ion battery keeps them logging for up to 24 hours during a power failure. Internal memory holds 90 days of readings at a 15 minute sampling interval.

The 4 and 8 channel models take PT100 or optional PT1000 RTD probes, measure -200 °C to +550 °C at 0.05 % of full scale, and store up to 40,000 records. Probes are purchased separately.

You collect the data at the logger. Connect a laptop with a USB cable, or connect a computer or mobile phone to the logger over a local Wi-Fi link, and download the CSV report directly from the device. No cloud account or site network is involved. Depending on the software plan, the data can also be turned into 21 CFR Part 11 compliant PDF reports with MKT values, audit trail, alarm logs and trend graphs.

Where no wireless link is permitted at all, use the USB cable download and tell us your site policy when you order.

The offline range mirrors the connected ranges model for model, so when a site gets a network, or policy changes, you can move to the Wi-Fi or 4G M2M version with the same range and probes and add live alerts. Until then, the offline logger keeps a complete record that can be reviewed at every download.
